Alpha version had a human and a different pose. I used the basemesh for my previous werewolf model and tried poorly to make it human shaped. I struggled a lot here and almost quit in frustration.
Planned big changes to try and salvage this project. Wholesome zombie maybe?
I started over and made a human base with more normal proportions. I kept struggling with the human form though, and was still getting frustrated and discouraged.
My attempts at making faces all looked too... uncanny.
An accident when modeling the ears made me decide to switch to a sheepy satyr instead, dressed as a human zombie. Immediately, the character/environment/scene gelled together with this decision. This kickstarted my motivation to finish.
General look and feel of the final models.
Highly advanced planning for the set. With the characters completed, the rest fell into place pretty naturally.
Proud of my competent eye/blink shader and animation, even if its confined to blender nodes. That being said, also proud of figuring out how to bake that shader into a texture.
